  • Business Link East - This organisation can provide your business with a wealth of experience and knowledge that can help take your idea or business forward.  Business Link East is the gateway to a wide network of business support organisations in the region, as well as information from the public, private and voluntary sectors. • Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services (NWES) - NWES offers a wide range of advisory services, business start-up programmes, training and development courses for both self employed individuals and employees and in recent years we have diversified into the provision of managed workspace for new and fledgling businesses.
  • The Prince's Trust - The Prince’s Trust works with young people who have fewer opportunities than most, such as the unemployed, those with a minimal level of education, young offenders, ethnic minorities, lone parents, the disabled, etc.
  • Women’s Employment Enterprise and Training Unit (WEETU) - WEETU provides a unique service primarily for women who are interested in improving their social and economic circumstances by accessing careers advice and guidance, writing a CV, improving their skills, workshadowing or setting up in business. Financial Assistance

The Council  does not currently provide direct cash grants to existing businesses and individuals setting up in business. However, we can provide information, advice and assistance on funding opportunities being offered by other organisations through various programmes and projects. More details about these can be found in the Grants and Funding pages.
