Rest centres
Evacuation centres are only used to muster those who are unable to self-evacuate. If the incident looks likely to be prolonged you will be moved to rest centres which are better equipped to provide shelter and care for evacuees.

Rest centres in North Norfolk are located at:
- Cromer Academy
- Fakenham Academy
- Holt Community Hub
- Broadland High School, Hoveton
- North Walsham High School
- Sheringham High School
- Stalham High School
- Alderman Peel High School, Wells-next-the-Sea
These would be opened by the authorities and supporting agencies as required.
