This concession pitch is located in the car park at Pauls Lane in Overstrand. The site is beside the route of the Norfolk Coastal Footpath. Vehicle access is through the main access to the car park on Pauls Lane.

It is in the northeast boundary of the car park on an unsurfaced area next to steps leading to the beach.

The pitch is available for up to 3 years.

The licence will start on 9 June 2024.

Utilities

The pitch is not serviced.

Use

This pitch is for use of food and drink concessions only (excluding ice cream).

Operating hours

Operating hours are restricted to the following daily times:

• open at 8am
• close at 8pm or dusk, whichever is earlier

Height barrier

There is a height barrier into the car park. This can be removed to allow access to the pitch. Applicants may wish to consider this if removing their unit from the pitch on a daily basis.

Costs to consider

Rent

To be agreed.

VAT

The Council does not intend to charge VAT on the rent.

Waste

The operator must provide bins for customers at this site. One of the following waste options must be arranged:

• a commercial waste service - for collection onsite
• a waste carrier licence - for businesses to dispose of their waste offsite

Business rates

The pitch will be subject to business rates payments, unless the operator qualifies for small business rate relief.

Parking

If the operator needs a second vehicle onsite, it will need to display a valid parking ticket or season ticket.
