Duty to notify Licensing Authority of convictions
If convicted of a relevant or a foreign offence, and the courts are not aware of the existence of the licence, a personal licence holder must notify the issuing authority as soon as possible about the conviction(s) and the outcome of any appeal against the conviction(s). The personal licence holder must return their personal licence so that details of the conviction can be recorded on the licence. Failure to comply is an offence subject to a level 2 on the standard scale (up to £500).
