If the trading to be carried out is from a stall, or similar, used for fund-raising for a charitable or other like purpose then it is deemed to be non commercial and licences are not required for such trading. However the following procedure must be followed:

  1. Contact Customer Service Team who will require the following details:
    • Full name of organiser (individual)
    • Daytime telephone number
    • Name of charity/organisation to benefit
    • Venue of street trading
    • Time of trading
    • Type of items to be sold
  2. You should carry out the following:
    • Seek permission from landowner
    • Obtain Public Liability insurance cover
  3. Consult with Norfolk County Council Area Engineer at Aylsham (Tel: 01263 738300) regarding the possible obstruction of the pavement.
