We are looking for a group of young people to help shape what our Youth Council will look like.

North Norfolk District Council is committed to ensuring that young people in North Norfolk have a voice on the issues that impact them now and in the future.

In partnership with the British Youth Council, we are forming a Youth Council to help bridge the gap between local young people and the Council.

Are you?

  • aged 11 to 18
  • living in North Norfolk
  • interested in shaping services and projects in the area
  • wanting to develop your leadership and communication skills
  • passionate about youth representation
  • wanting to advocate for all young people

You will need to attend a full day workshop on Monday, 24 October 2022 (all expenses will be covered)

About the British Youth Council

The British Youth Council is the National Youth Council of the UK. As a youth-led charity, they empower young people aged 25 and under to influence and inform the decisions that affect their lives.

They support young people to get involved in their communities and democracy locally, nationally and internationally, making a difference as volunteers, campaigners, decision-makers and leaders.
