Our Planning Public Access system allows you to view applications, appeal and enforcement case information and documentation.

It also allows registered users to track applications, receive automatic email updates of progress, make comments and save searches.

You can also access a list of applications validated and decided by week or month on our Planning Public Access system by selecting the weekly or monthly lists button.

Commenting on an application

Many of the applications will undergo a period of consultation.  It includes consultation with specific organisations, bodies and experts depending on the application made.  Part of this consultation includes inviting comments from members of the public who may support or have concerns about the application.

The consultation period lasts three weeks, and you are welcome to submit your comments via the planning application search system.

Before you comment

Please note the following:

  • When you submit an application, it is not anonymous. Your address details will be visible.  Email addresses, however, are removed.
  • Do not include any identifiable or personal details (such as family names or health conditions) in your comments, as these will be removed.
  • Abusive, inflammatory or inappropriately worded comments will not be accepted.
  • Whilst you are able to upload documents, we request a maximum file size of 6MB per upload.  Therefore, if you are uploading images with a very high resolution, you must reduce the resolution before uploading.  If this causes you issues, email planning@north-norfolk.gov.uk for further assistance.
